Professional <br />experience also includes work on various land development projects for Seminole Tribe of Florida, <br />Coscan Homes and also administering the NPDES Program for the City of Miami. <br />RELEVANT EXPERIENCE <br />WATER AND WASTEWATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FOR LAUDERDALE WEST, <br />SUNSET NORTH, RIVER RUN, FLAMINGO PARK, OAK RIVER, SHADY BANKS <br />AND EDGEWOOD COMMUNITIES, BROWARD COUNTY, FL: Project Manager for <br />the design of water and wastewater improvements for the City of Fort Lauderdale Water Works <br />2011 Program.The service areas for these projects are comprised of a mixture of single family, <br />multi - family, commercial, office and industrial uses.The design phase includes over 188,000 linear <br />feet of gravity sewer, 20,300 linear feet of force mains, 16 new wastewater pump stations, and <br />43,000 linear feet of water mains. (1/03 <br />to present) <br />SEWER STUDY FOR CHULA VISTA/RIVER LANDS /LAUDERDALE ISLE AND RIVER <br />LANES COMMUNITIES, BROWARD COUNTY, FL: Project Manager for an engineering <br />study to provide sanitary sewer systems to several residential communities which are being <br />serviced by individual septic tank systems and recently annexed by the City of Fort Lauderdale. <br />The study area comprised of 425 -acres of mostly single - family dwellings. The study identified <br />and evaluated several options to service the subject communities.The recommended wastewater <br />system includes 55,000 linear feet of gravity sanitary sewer collection systems, 7,000 linear feet of <br />force mains and three (3) wastewater pump stations. The total construction value was estimated to <br />be $10 million. Client/Contact: City of Fort Lauderdale /Paul Bohlander, P.E., Phone: (954) 522 -2604. <br />(4/03 to 10/03) <br />ALEXANDER TOWERS DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS, BROWARD COUNTY, FL: <br />Drainage Improvements for an existing Condominium site in Hollywood, FL.The proposed work <br />involved the elimination of an existing ocean outfall and modifying the sites existing drainage <br />system to include an exfiltration trench system to meet water quality requirements and a drainage <br />well to provide storm water attenuation. <br />COCONUT CREEK LAKE BANK IMPROVEMENTS, BROWARD COUNTY, FL: The <br />proposed improvements corrected deficient lake banks of four (4) existing lakes to the required <br />permitted design conditions.The scope of work included preparation of Lake Improvement Plans <br />and obtaining permitting agency approvals for the modifications. <br />COCONUT CREEK LIFT STATION IMPROVEMENTS, BROWARD COUNTY, FL: <br />Rehabilitation of Lift Station in the City of Coconut Creek, FL. Work included the modeling /analysis <br />of the existing conditions of the lift station to determine the existing capacity of the wetwell <br />and required pump sizing. Responsibilities also included permitting, bidding and negotiation and <br />construction management. <br />ACME BASIN B DISCHARGE PROJECT — SECTION 24 (COMPREHENSIVE <br />EVERGLADES RESTORATION PLAN, CERP): Work entails design of an approximately <br />410 -acre natural area (Section 24 Lands), with uplands, deep water and wetlands to provide flood <br />attenuation and treatment prior to discharge to the C- I canal. Other project features include <br />the design of conveyance improvements for the C- I canal. Responsibilities also included the <br />management of the sub - consultant design for the design of two (2) storm water pump stations, <br />and the seepage analysis design for Section 24.
