<br />12-xxxx_WTP Improvement_Davie <br />WTP IMPROVEMENT  <br />Davie, Florida  <br />Client <br />Town of Davie <br />Contact information <br />at time of project: <br />Bruce Taylor <br />Utilities Director <br />Utilities Department <br />6591 Orange Drive <br />Davie, Florida 33314 <br />(954) 327-3741 <br />Project Date <br />2003 <br />Services Provided <br />Civil Design <br />Surveying <br />Construction Management <br />The design of this water treatment plant improvement project began with a hydraulic <br />analysis of the Town’s distribution system and evaluation of the plant’s storage and <br />pumping capabilities. The results of the analysis led to the recommended design of:  <br /> 2‐million‐gallon pre‐stressed concrete storage tank  <br /> two new 100‐HP high‐service pumps  <br /> one new raw water well  <br /> rehabilitation of an existing raw water well  <br /> more than 300 feet of raw water main  <br /> more than 5,000 feet of transmission main to increase system pressure in the <br />eastern area  <br />The project was bid within 2% of the engineer’s estimate.  <br />CGA provided Civil Design Services, Surveying Services and complete Construction <br />Management Services. CM Services include a full time onsite manager as well as <br />oversight of all testing and special inspection sub‐consultants.  <br />Page 2| 19
