<br />Project Manager Experience
<br />Our selected Project Manager, Joel Wadsworth is an accomplished strategic
<br />planner, leader, and construction/facility management specialist with more
<br />than 25 years of experience serving an instrumental role in the delivery of
<br />top quality, multimillion‐dollar real estate developments. He held positions
<br />as estimator/purchasing agent, assistant superintendent, superintendent,
<br />project manager and VP Director of Construction for Trafalgar Developers/
<br />Associates, Inc. a subsidiary of General Electric Company. He held similar
<br />high level positions with the HDC Group and International Sales Group
<br />assuming responsibilities and authority for the budgeting, contracting and
<br />construction management of a number of complex high‐end residential and
<br />commercial real estate developments.
<br />Mr. Wadsworth has the experience to serve the City of Sunny Isles Beach in this capacity having served as
<br />a construction manager for multiple continuing services construction management/capital
<br />improvement projects for Miami Dade Municipalities.
<br />Throughout his career, Mr. Wadsworth has gained experience from every aspect of the project. He has
<br />completed projects as a general contractor, developer and as an owner’s representative. This vast
<br />experience allows Mr. Wadsworth to have a 360 degree view of the project, foresee future issues and
<br />resolve them prior to their occurrence. Mr. Wadsworth’s experience is outlined below:
<br />Project Manager – Construction Services Division Calvin, Giordano, & Associates, Inc. Fort
<br />Lauderdale, Florida. Capital Projects Manager – Miami Dade Municipalities and Broward County.
<br />Director of Development and Construction Division: International Sales Group LLC, Aventura,
<br />Florida. Organization specializing in real estate sales/ marketing within territory covering the US and the
<br />Caribbean. Provider of consulting services in the areas of project concept, feasibility, related market
<br />studies, and cost analysis. Company generates from $200M to over $500M sales annually and is comprised
<br />of 25‐200 staff members. Worked collaboratively with clients in the planning of real estate development
<br />projects, offering expertise in the areas of concept, markets, feasibility, constructability, and expense / cost
<br />forecasts. Deliver expert management of construction ventures, serving as client representative focused on
<br />the ensuring of the effective, timely, and quality orchestration of all project phases in compliance with
<br />requirements.
<br />Director of Construction: HDC Group LLC, Miami, Florida. Leading corporate representative securing
<br />key accounts and delivering expert consulting in the areas of research, documentation, and project
<br />planning / development. Served as Construction Manager and Owner’s Representative.
<br />Director of Construction, Trafalgar Associates Inc., Miami, Florida. Primary leadership and supervisory
<br />force in the areas of land development and construction of apartments, single‐family homes,
<br />condominiums, and commercial structures. Secured government approval/permits, planned and
<br />monitored site development, controlled budgets, scheduled work, hired contractors, coordinated
<br />construction phases, and ensured the safe/timely/cost effective/quality completion of all projects. Liaised,
<br />worked closely with, and managed attorneys, architects, engineers, government representatives,
<br />subcontractors, sales managers, superintendents, foremen, labors, purchasing specialist, bookkeepers and
<br />customer service representatives.
