  <br />ROBERT F. MCSWEENEY, PE  <br />Municipal Engineering Support Services  <br />SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS   <br />Mr. McSweeney has more than 24 years of experience in land development, utilities,  <br />roadway engineering and construction. Work knowledge includes company  <br />representation, marketing, and civil engineering related planning, permitting, design  <br />and construction administration.  Broad background entails employment with civil and  <br />environmental engineering firms providing service to both public and private sector  <br />clients in Miami‐Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.  Experience also involves  <br />FDOT Utility Coordination, FDOT Construction Administration and design/consulting for  <br />the U.S. Air Force.  <br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE  <br />City of Pompano Beach Miscellaneous Engineering Services Contract:  (2007‐ 2010)  <br />Contract Manager/Engineer of Record for an ongoing continuing services contract  <br />providing General Engineering, and Surveying and Mapping services to the municipality  <br />on an as needed basis. Projects provided under this contract included: Pompano  <br />Reclaimed/Reuse Water Main, and Force Main design and construction administration,  <br />Pompano Beach Sidewalk Construction Program, Facility Assessment Reporting,  <br />Municipal Pier renovation inspections, Broward County/Pompano Beach Branch Library  <br />site engineering design, and bridge and culvert improvements.  <br />Hillsboro Blvd. (S.R.810) Improvements: Deerfield Beach, Florida, (2007‐2010)  <br />Engineer of Record/Contract Administrator, project included surveying and engineering  <br />design for reconstruction and improvements to approx. 4,800 linear feet of roadway  <br />(Hillsboro Boulevard/S.R. 810) from Federal Highway to S.R. A‐1‐A. Project  <br />improvements include: roadway cross‐slope correction, underground utilities  <br />adjustments/relocations, drainage improvements, mast arm/signalization, utility  <br />coordination, safety improvements, landscape and streetscape elements, decorative  <br />lighting and bid assistance. Construction commenced in 2008; project budget $6.5  <br />million.  <br />Coconut Creek High School: (2007­2009): This stadium enhancement contract  <br />included all civil engineering and land surveying services for the school’s stadium  <br />redesign project facilitated through a City of Coconut Creek contract with a design/build  <br />firm, Recreational Design and Construction (RDC), and was funded by the School Board  <br />of Broward County. Project involvement included complete civil engineering design and  <br />permitting associated with the new stadium and concession/restroom building, and  <br />construction administration/inspection/certification. Project was on an accelerated  <br />Design Build schedule.  Other Broward County school stadium projects included  <br />Deerfield Beach High School and Blanche Ely High School.   <br />Parkland Commons Commercial Development: City of Parkland, Florida: (2007‐ <br />2009) Engineering Manager for the complete engineering design, platting, permitting  <br />and construction administration for a 40‐acre commercial development. Project also  <br />involved substantial offsite roadway improvements on University Drive, and joint use  <br />agreements with the School Board of Broward County.  <br />EDUCATION <br />Bachelor of Science, <br />Civil Engineering, 1986 <br />Florida Institute of <br />Technology, Melbourne, FL <br />REGISTRATIONS <br />State of Florida <br />PE #47506 <br />CERTIFICATIONS <br />Maintenance of Traffic <br />(M.O.T.) - Intermediate <br />FDOT QC Manager <br />FDOT EEO, DBE and Payroll <br />Compliance on Local Area <br />Projects <br />Building Code <br />Administrative Core <br />PROFESSIONAL <br />AFFILIATIONS <br />Florida Engineering Society <br />(F.E.S.) <br />FAU Civil Engineering <br />Department Advisory Board <br />Page 3| 14
