<br />SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
<br />Mr. DeRosia has more than 30 years of professional experience in project management
<br />and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities. His experience with
<br />construction and project management is an asset for any project. Mr. DeRosia is very
<br />familiar with various clients, vendors and subcontractors in all phases of municipal
<br />design and construction.
<br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE
<br />Project Engineer: He has designed, permitted and managed projects for water and
<br />wastewater pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment plants, wet wells and
<br />water distribution systems. His projects included pump stations for Miami‐Dade Water
<br />and Sewer Authority, upgrades to Miami‐Dade North District Wastewater Treatment
<br />Plant and Miami‐Dade Northwest Wellfield Water Distribution System.
<br />Project Manager: He has been manager of numerous construction projects where he
<br />was required to create budgets, set up schedules, perform inspections, prepare monthly
<br />cost reports, prepare change orders, provide punch lists and finalize project close out.
<br />His responsibilities included coordination of vendors, sub‐contractors, office personnel,
<br />sub consultants and clients to meet all goals throughout the projects.
<br />WATER AND SEWER DESIGN EXPERIENCE
<br />Miami‐Dade WASA Water Distribution. Design and manage new 72” water transmission
<br />main, 15 new pump buildings with 24” well pumps and generator/switchgear building.
<br />Miami‐Dade WASA Pump Station 12‐P5. Design and manage new caisson pump station,
<br />force main, gravity line, obtain permits, and perform inspections.
<br />WATER AND SEWER CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE
<br />City of Cooper City Wastewater Treatment Plant. Project Manager for construction of
<br />new two mgd treatment plant, blower building, chlorination building, electrical building,
<br />piping, valves and controls.
<br />City of Pembroke Pines Wastewater Treatment Plant. Project Manager for construction
<br />of new two million gallon per day treatment plant, headworks facility, generator
<br />building, odor control units, high service pump station, chlorination building, diesel fuel
<br />facility, gravity and force main piping.
<br />City of Cooper City Sludge Treatment Facility. Project Manager for construction of new
<br />concrete sludge drying beds, piping, sludge conveyor system, paving, drainage and
<br />control system.
<br />City of Lake Worth Pump Station Rehabilitation. Project Manager for construction of
<br />removing and replacing high service pumps, pipe and valves, generator, electrical
<br />equipment, fuel tanks, instrumentation and controls. Install by‐pass pumping systems,
<br />force main piping, paving and drainage.
<br />City of Port St. Lucie Booster Pump Station. Project Manager for the construction of one
<br />million gallon prestressed storage tank, horizontal pumps, control valves, generator,
<br />switchgear, paving and drainage.
