Morri� N <br />I nt to take this opportunity to extend my personal regards for the work performed by <br />your company on the largest public /private project in Miami -Dade County history, the <br />$461 million Carnival Center for the Performing Arts. <br />During the performance of your contract for Program Manager Services, Mr. Tim Ackert, <br />together with his team, did an excellent job controlling cost and managing the project <br />schedule. Due to your team's efforts the project was able to maintain budgetary controls <br />and meet important milestone dates. This project had very high visibility and public <br />scrutiny to provide this nearly 600,000 square foot complex on the promised schedule. <br />Mr. Tim Ackert provided quality leadership and worked closely with my staff, the A/E's <br />staff, and the Construction Manager's staff to ensure that project issues were effectively <br />and efficiently managed. <br />I would like to express my appreciation for the team effort URS put together on this <br />project.
