Samson Commission Chambers, Sunny Isles Beach <br /> Government Center, 18070 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach,Florida on Thursday,February 16,2017 <br /> at 6:30 p.m., to consider the following Zoning application: <br /> Application: Marina del Mar II <br /> Century Towers Associates, LLP ("Applicant") <br /> Location: 15920 Collins Avenue & 100 Kings Point Drive, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br /> Public Hearing #: PZ2016-12 <br /> Summary: <br /> The Applicant is seeking a site plan approval for a North and a South rental apartment towers, consisting <br /> of 127 dwelling units in each tower. In addition, a parking garage with 860 parking spaces, and a <br /> remodeled existing tower with 335 dwelling units. Additionally, the Applicant is seeking approval of the <br /> — ---following variances: (i) building separation variance between the parking garage and North tower of 33 – — <br /> feet 7 inches where 50 feet is required; (ii) a north side setback variance of the parking garage of 16 feet <br /> and 11 inches where 25 feet is required; (iii)a south side setback variance of the parking garage of 13 feet <br /> and 2 inches where 25 feet is required; and (iv) a port cochere side setback variance of the North and <br /> South towers of 3 feet and 2 inches where 25 feet is required. The Applicant is also requesting a site plan <br /> approval extension of additional 12 months where 24 months are allowed and the approval of temporary <br /> graphics for a temporary fencing. - - <br /> Requests: <br /> 1. Pursuant to Section 265-18 of the City of Sunny Isles Beach Land Development Regulations, the <br /> Applicant is requesting a site plan approval for two rental apartment towers of 190 feet in height <br /> with 127 dwelling units each and an enclosed parking garage with 860 parking spaces. <br /> 2. Pursuant to Section 265-15 of the City of Sunny Isles Beach Land Development Regulations, the <br /> Applicant is requesting a variance of Section 265-34(D)(6)(a) to permit building separation to be <br /> 33 feet and 7 inches where 50 feet separation is required. <br /> 3. Pursuant to Section 265-15 of the City of Sunny Isles Beach Land Development Regulations, the <br /> -Applicant is requesting a variance of Section 265-34(D)(4)(c)[3] to permit 16 feet and 11 inches to <br /> the north garage side setback where 25 feet side setback is required. <br /> 4.
