Russo, City Manager <br /> DATE: 2/16/2017 <br /> RE: Mobile Parking Application <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> It is recommended that the City Commission approve the agreement <br /> with PayByPhone Technologies, Inc. ("PayByPhone"). There is no cost <br /> to the City for this service. <br /> REASONS: <br /> City staff evaluated three of the mobile parking applications and had <br /> originally contracted with Passport Parking, Inc.; however, due to delays <br /> in implementation and IT compatibility issues, staff would,like to enter <br /> into a new contract with PayByPhone. <br /> The contract includes the following terms: <br /> • Each parking transaction will cost $0.27 to the user in addition to the <br /> City's existing parking fees <br /> • Contractor will bear cost for signage ' <br /> • Contractor will provide City with system maintenance and technical <br /> support <br /> • Term: three (3)years, with two (2)one (1)year renewal options <br /> ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br /> Adding a mobile pay application option to the City's existing parking <br /> system will provide users with an additional option for payment via <br /> 340 <br />
