• All positions have an internal UPS unit to prevent system down time from power <br /> outages. <br /> • All equipment uses industry standard and approved lightning suppression and <br /> NEC grounding techniques to minimize damage from lightning and power surges. <br /> • All equipment on the system will be monitored by a network monitoring system <br /> (NMS) installed in the main head-end at the municipal services complex. This will <br /> allow for instant notifications of equipment malfunction or failure. <br /> Project management methodology and quality assurance approach <br /> Aware Digital is committed to its customer's project success and as part of its standard <br /> process always assigns a dedicated project manager to each project. The project <br /> manager will coordinate all scheduling, planning, updates and other items with the <br /> customer. The PM will be the liaison between the installation team, support team and <br /> the customer. It is important to the process that the customer be informed at all steps <br /> during the project. Once a phase is completed, the project manager will perform a <br /> quality assurance walk through with the installation team and make sure that everything <br /> has been completely properly. Upon completion of these steps, the customer and <br /> project manager will be able to review the system and be able to confirm that the work <br /> is of satisfactory quality and all nodes are working as required. Upon acceptance the <br /> customer can sign off on the phase. <br /> Support <br /> Aware Digital is dedicating to supporting all of its customers on a 24/7/365 basis. Aware <br /> Digital maintains full time certified staff and equipment to respond quickly to all support <br /> situations. This includes having bucket trucks, spare equipment and around the clock <br /> and on-call staff. Aware Digital prides itself on its level of dedication to support and <br /> continues to support customers both locally and all over the world. <br /> Training <br /> The manufacturer of this system has various certification levels which are highly <br /> recommended that the Administrator and those working with the system on a day-to-day <br /> basis attain. In addition Aware Digital will provide at no additional cost operator level <br /> training, which is a 16 hour class as need for a total of 50 hours annually as part of its <br /> service to the city. Additional training will be available under a service and maintenance <br /> plan and can be purchased at bulk rates or on an as-needed basis. <br /> (pf <br /> Aware Digital Inc.
