SECTION 02513 <br /> ASPHALTIC CONCRETE PAVING <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> 1.01 WORK INCLUDED <br /> A. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required and place <br /> asphaltic concrete pavement in accordance with the grades and typical sections <br /> shown on the Drawings and as specified herein. <br /> 1.02 RELATED WORK <br /> A. Section 01030: Special Project Procedures <br /> 1.03 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Submit shop drawings as specified in Section 01340. <br /> PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> 2.01 MATERIALS <br /> A. The limerock base shall consist of grade No. 2 Miami Oolite limerock as specified <br /> by the Florida Department of Transportation. <br /> B. The material used for the prime coat shall conform to the Florida Department of <br /> Transportation Specifications for primer to be used on Miami Oolite limerock <br /> base. <br /> C. Bituminous material for tack coat shall meet the standard specifications of the <br /> Florida Department of Transportation for the grade used and may be any suitable <br /> grade of R.C. <br /> D. The materials of the asphaltic concrete surface shall conform with applicable <br /> sections of Florida Department of Transportation Specifications for Asphaltic <br /> Concrete Surface Course. <br /> E. The paint used for parking and traffic stripes shall be yellow traffic paint which <br /> shall be of a type approved by the Florida Department of Transportation under <br /> their Specifications for Traffic paint (Sec. 971-12.3 in 1977 Edition), Code T-2. <br /> PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> 3.01 INSTALLATION <br /> A. The subgrade preparation shall comply with the requirements of Section 160 of <br /> the Florida Department of Transportation Specifications.
