Connection to existing lines, to which piping of this Contract must connect, the <br /> following work shall be performed. <br /> 1. Confirm or determine end connection, pipe material dimensions and <br /> diameter. <br /> 2. Furnish and install appropriate piping, couplings and make proper <br /> connections. <br /> 3. Maintain sewage system service. <br /> 1.06 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Submit to the Engineer within ten (10) days after execution of the Contract, shop <br /> drawing, a list of materials to be furnished, the names of the supplier and the <br /> date of delivery of materials to the site. <br /> B. All ductile-iron pipe and fittings to be installed under this Contract shall be <br /> inspected and tested at the foundry as required by the standard specifications to <br /> which the material is manufactured. Furnish in duplicate to the Engineer sworn <br /> certificates of such tests and their results. In addition, all ductile-iron pipe and <br /> • <br /> fittings to be installed under this Contract may be inspected at the foundry <br /> laboratory. The manufacturer's cooperation shall be required in these <br /> inspections. <br /> C. Shop drawings including layers shall be submitted to the Engineer for approval in <br /> accordance with General Conditions and Section 01340 and shall include <br /> dimensioning, methods and locations of supports and all other pertinent technical <br /> specifications for all piping to be furnished. <br /> D.
