Informational Touchsaii49'Kiosks:Oa Software I RFP#17 04-01'` STAFFING Oran Viriyincy Project Manager Oran Viriyincy has been a part of the public transportation since he was a young man.As a transit enthusiast, Oran immediately pursued work in the industry as soon as he was old enough to be employed. His first job in transit was with the King County Department of Transportation. Oran has worked continuously in the transit industry since 2008. He is a nationally recognized blogger writing for the Seattle Transit Blog. After joining CHK America, Oran quickly became the lead designer for many of our high profile clients. He has developed original passenger information products for Valley Metro in Phoenix, Hampton Roads Transit, Redondo Beach Transit, Porterville Transit, Gold Coast Transit, Los Angeles MTA and Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority to name a few. Oran is also the primary individual responsible for writing code enabling CHK to use GTFS data in a wide variety of applications. His skills include creating purpose build apps, creating databases that ingest GTFS data and generate output that is custom tailored to the required objectives such as populating customer information pieces. Automating the creation of printed customer information products saves time and reduces errors.Oran is also the lead for developing custom GIS databases. Oran has developed custom GIS databases for several clients including WMATA where we have over 10,000 unique pieces of information deployed on the street. Prior to joining CHK, Mr. Viriyincy was working with the Seattle Department of Transportation on their improved city wayfinding project where he was responsible for the enhancement of visibility and accessibility of city street signage, creation and maintenance of city street channelization and the development of maps and information sheets for the Transit Program outreach effort.
