They are deployed at City rail stations downtown. <br /> Pittsburgh was a SmartCity finalist and they understand what people want.They know that the rail <br /> stations downtown are central points of ingress and egress for residents and tourists alike. And <br /> because the rail stations are easily identifiable, people unfamiliar with the city geography can find <br /> them easily as they have high visibility on street signage and are featured prominently in tourist <br /> guides. <br /> Like Las Vegas, the kiosks are extremely popular. So much so that Pittsburgh intends to deploy <br /> them outside the city center in coming months. <br /> • <br /> The average statistics for the most recent 30 days from a single kiosk is as follows: <br /> Wayfinding Map Inquiry: 1,205 <br /> Mass Transportation Inquiry: 10,197 <br /> Trip Plans: 596 <br /> ADA Interactions: 77 <br /> SMS/Emails sent to self: 59 <br /> Pittsburgh's mission is to become one of the nation's SmartCity examples. With that in mind, <br /> they are deploying other green, sustainable products from CHK America.
