<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach |Request for Proposal No. 12-05-01 33A <br /> <br /> One backhoe/front end loader combination machine (equivalent <br />to a Ford F555 or larger.) <br /> One 24 foot minimum vertical man lift (pole cat or equivalent). <br /> Two portable brush chippers with 20 cu yard capacity storage <br />truck. <br /> Two twenty-cubic-yard capacity dump trucks. <br /> One Utility Box Truck or Van. <br /> One portable gasoline generator (5000 W Minimum) <br /> Two 60” three gang hydrostatic reel mowers. (5 blades per reel <br />min.) <br /> One 21” Reel Mower (5 blades) <br /> Four utility carts that can traverse landscaped areas without <br />damaging plants or irrigation. <br /> One Skid-steer Loader with the following accessories: Tree <br />Boom, Fork, Bucket, and Auger. <br /> A two-way communication system between all of the C ontractors <br />service vehicles, their main office, and City personnel. <br /> <br />The Contractor must own or have leased the following <br />equipment at the time of proposal submittal. The City may <br />require proof of such ownership or lease agreement at its sole <br />discretion. <br /> <br /> 3.10.3.10 EQUIPMENT SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br /> <br />MOWERS All mowers must be rotary mowers with a maximum of a <br />72” cut. They shall be adjusted to 2 1/2” or 3” cutting <br />height as directed by City, shall be in good repair, shall <br />have no oil or gas leaks, and shall be equipped with <br />grass catchers and sharp blades. Mower blades shall be <br />sharpened or new prior to each cut. All rotary mowers <br />must be mulching-type mowers with no discharge <br />allowed, or all clippings must be manually removed. All <br />equipment must be maintained in sound working <br />condition in order not to exceed comfortable decibel <br />levels or as determined by the City at its sole discretion. <br /> <br />EDGER’S S Shall be in good repair, shall have no oil or gas leaks, <br />and shall provide a clean straight edge not more than <br />1/2” away from walks and edge of pavement. <br /> <br />VACUUMS In lieu of blowers vacuums shall be used as part of this <br />contract. <br /> <br />3.10.4 D.
