<br />Addendum 7 <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />ARLEN HOUSE RIGHT-OF-WAY IMPROVEMENT <br />CITY RFP NO. 14-04-01 <br /> <br />To All Bidders: <br /> <br />Bidders for the above referenced project shall take note of the following changes, additions, <br />deletions, clarifications, etc. to the Plans and Specifications, which in accordance with the <br />Contract Documents shall become a part of and have precedence over anything shown or <br />described otherwise. <br /> <br /> <br /> Questions/Clarifications: <br /> <br />1. Is there a budget for this project? <br /> <br />Response: The “City of Sunny Isles Beach Fiscal Year 2013-2014 Comprehensive Annual <br />Budget and Five Year Capital Improvement Program” allocates an amount of $500,000 for <br />the project. <br /> <br /> <br />2. Section 2.12 states that the proposer shall furnish adequate supervision. Please define <br />“adequate” supervision. Is it the City’s intention to have a full time Superintendent and <br />Project Manager? <br /> <br />Response: <br />The Proposer provide shall provide staffing and resources as they deem fit to ensure that <br />the project is completed in accordance with the contract documents/specification, contract <br />terms and schedule. <br /> <br /> <br />3. Section 2.13 states that all unusable material and debris shall be removed from premises at the <br />end of each workday. <br />a. Please define unusable material and debris. <br />b. Will stock piling of demo material or fill be allowed over night? <br /> <br />Response: <br />a. “Unusable material” refers to any substance unsuitable to be incorporated in the work <br />as described in RFP No 14-04-01. <br /> <br />b. Stock piling of discarded material will not be permitted overnight. Contractor shall <br />ensure that stockpiling of all surplus materials, equipment, usable forms etc be limited
