The City has an RFQ out for “Professional Planning and Zoning Consulting
Services, Including Civil and Traffic Engineering”. Is this contract going to
replace the contract we (RJ Behar & Company, Inc) are under now or is it strictly
P & Z. Is it intended for a P & Z lead? If so can we go as subs?

This RFQ #16-12-01 is not replacing the current contract the City of Sunny Isles
Beach has with RJ Behar & Company, Inc. This Request for Qualifications is for
Professional Planning and Zoning Services, including Civil and Traffic
Engineering as part of the scope of work. Interested firms are welcome to submit
a response for consideration, pursuant to the RFQ’s terms and conditions.

2. The solicitation contains a number of references to Engineering and
Construction Administration Services. Can the City clarify whether this project is
for Planning and Zoning Consulting services with support from Civil, Traffic, and
Landscape Architecture disciplines as needed (ex. Plan Review and DRC), or if
this project is a full services for all disciplines including Civil, Traffic and
Construction Administration Services.
The Civil, Landscaping, and Traffic Engineering services will be supportive to the
Planning and Zoning scope of services.
3. Since the SF330 Form, Part I, Section E is a resume for each key personnel, will
the City permit vendors to reference the SF330 form within Section E of the
proposal response, in lieu of submitting an additional resume within Section F?
The SF330 Form section Part I, will meet the resume requirements only for
Architects and Engineering firms, all other firms and subcontractors must provide
a resume.
