Sheet <br />26, Storm water Pollution Plan, indicate a much larger quantity being <br />required. Please clarify. <br /> <br />A21: See attached Table 1 MAJOR ITEM SCHEDULE OF VALUES. <br /> <br /> <br />Q22: The schedule of values, Item 80, requires 300 LF of decorative fence with <br />gates, please clarify where the fence is located. <br /> <br />A22: Please refer to the Roadway Plans Sheet 11 that states “Replace Existing <br />Fence, Field Verify Limits. Match Existing”. <br /> <br /> <br />Q23: Please clarify whether this Contract is LUMP Sum or Lump Sum with Unit <br />Pricing per the schedule of values, (i.e. Lump Sum for the Bridge and Approaches <br />and Unit Price for the Roadway items). It’s not clear what the term “Lump SUM <br />Price with Schedule of Values” means that is referred to in the bid form (Document <br />003300 – sheet 00300-1). <br /> <br />A23: The contract is lump sum with the Schedule of Values to be used as the basis <br />for additions and/or deletions. <br /> <br />Q24: After carefully reviewing all project specifications, by hiring a subcontractor <br />with extensive bridge experience who will be performing the majority of the <br />construction, meet or oversee the Contractors qualification stated in section 4.2 of <br />the project manual? <br /> <br />A24: The City intends to award to the contractor it determines to be the most <br />responsive and responsible. <br /> <br /> <br />END OF SECTION
