A. When used in the Contract Documents, the term "working drawings” shall be <br />considered to mean the CONTRACTOR's plans for temporary structures such <br />as temporary bulkheads, support of open cut excavation, support of utilities, <br />ground water control systems, forming and false-work; for underpinning; and <br />for such other work as may be required for construction, but does not become <br />an integral part of the project. <br /> <br />B. Submit copies of working drawings to the ENGINEER where required by the <br />Contract Documents or requested by the ENGINEER. <br /> <br />1. Submit at least thirty (30) calendar days (unless otherwise specified by the <br />ENGINEER) in advance of their being required for work. <br /> <br />C. Working drawings shall be signed by a Registered Professional ENGINEER, <br />currently licensed to practice in the State of Florida and shall convey, or be <br />accompanied by, calculation or other sufficient information to completely <br />explain the structure, machine, or system described and its intended manner of <br />use. <br /> <br />1. Prior to commencing such work, working drawings must have been <br />reviewed without specific exceptions by the ENGINEER, which review will <br />be for general conformance and will not relieve the CONTRACTOR in way <br />from his responsibility with regard to the fulfillment of the terms of the <br />Contract. <br /> <br />2. Risks of error are assumed by the CONTRACTOR; the OWNER and <br />ENGINEER shall have no responsibility therefore. <br /> <br />1 .07 SAMPLES <br /> <br />A. Furnish, for the approval of the OWNER and/or ENGINEER, samples required <br />by the Contract Documents or requested by the OWNER and/ENGINEER. <br /> <br />1. Samples shall be delivered to the OWNER and ENGINEER as specified or <br />directed. <br /> <br />2. Prepay shipping charges on samples. <br /> <br />3. Materials or equipment for which samples are required shall not be used in <br />work until approved by the ENGINEER and/or OWNER. <br /> <br />B. Samples shall be of sufficient size and quantity to clearly illustrate: <br /> <br />1. Functional characteristics of the product, with integrally related parts and <br />attachment devices. <br />2.
