SECTION 01770 <br />CLOSEOUT PROCEDURES <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br />1.01 SUMMARY <br /> <br />A. Comply with requirements stated in Conditions of the Contract and in <br />Specifications for administrative procedures in closing out the work. <br /> <br />1.02 RELATED SECTIONS <br /> <br />A. Conditions of the Contract. <br /> <br />1. Fiscal provisions, legal submittals, and additional administrative <br />requirements. <br /> <br />B. Project Record Documents - Division 1. <br /> <br />C. Closeout Submittals - Division 1. <br /> <br />1.03 BENEFICIAL OCCUPANCY WHERE APPLICABLE <br /> <br />A. When the OWNER considers work is substantially complete for beneficial use, <br />he will submit a letter to the CONTRACTOR informing intent to take early <br />possession of the facility for partial use. <br /> <br />1. The written notice shall describe the OWNER's reason for early beneficial <br />occupancy. <br /> <br />B. Adjust construction work schedule to accommodate the OWNER's plan to utilize <br />the facility. <br /> <br />1. Continue the work while allowing the OWNER full access and use of the <br />facility. <br /> <br />C. Requests for time extension or additional costs based upon the OWNER's early <br />occupancy of the site and use of the facilities shall not be considered. <br /> <br />1. Additional costs associated with the OWNER's early occupancy of the site <br />shall be borne by the CONTRACTOR. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1.04 SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION <br /> <br />A.
