<br />B. The trench shall be properly stepped back, as required, but the width of the slab <br />shall not be less than the width of the trench plus 2 feet. <br /> <br />C. Concrete shall be ready-mixed and have twenty-eight (28) day compressive <br />strength of 3,000 psi. <br /> <br />1. Finished top surface shall be screened. <br /> <br />D. Minimum reinforcement shall be welded wire fabric, 6 inches by 6 inches - w2.9 <br />by w2.9. <br /> <br />E. Top of slab shall be 1 inch minimum below finished grade of the final surface <br />course. <br /> <br />3.15 EXISTING OBSTRUCTIONS <br /> <br />A. Pavement cut or damaged in connection with the work under this section shall <br />be rebuilt or repaired. <br /> <br />B. Restored pavement shall be at least equal in every respect to the pavement that <br />was cut or damaged, including the base course, surface treatment and grade. <br /> <br />C. Temporary sand seal coat pavement surface shall be applied to the cut or <br />damaged areas. <br /> <br />D. This temporary surfacing shall be replaced by the final restored pavement. <br /> <br />E. Sand seal coat temporary surfacing shall not be removed until fifteen (15) days <br />after it has been constructed. <br /> <br />F. Existing pavement shall be cut back a minimum of 1 foot beyond each edge of <br />the pavement that was cut when the trenching was done or 1 foot beyond each <br />edge of the trench, whichever is greater. <br /> <br />G. Temporary surfacing, backfill, existing pavement and its base course shall be <br />removed to a depth of 7 inches or to the depth indicated. <br /> <br /> <br />3.16 STOCKPILING OF SUITABLE EXCESS MATERIAL <br /> <br />A.
