PART 3 EXECUTION <br /> <br />3.01 SETTING PRECAST SECTIONS <br /> <br />A. Precast reinforced concrete sections shall be set so as to be vertical and with <br />sections in true alignment. <br /> <br />B. Holes in sections; used for their handling, shall be thoroughly plugged with <br />mortar. The mortar shall be one (1) part cement to one and one-half (1 1/2) <br />parts sand; mixed slightly damp to the touch (just short of "balling"); hammered <br />into the holes until it is dense and an excess of paste appears on the surface; <br />and then finished smooth and flush with the adjoining surfaces. <br /> <br />3.02 FINISH <br /> <br />A.
