Manufacturer’s product data indicating compliance with specified requirements. <br /> <br /> <br />PART 2 PRODUCTS <br /> <br /> <br />2.01 MATERIALS <br /> <br />A. Portland Cement: ASTM C150-84, Type I, white or gray, as required. <br /> <br />B. Masonry Cement: ASTM C91-83a, Type II. <br /> <br />C. Sand: 100 percent passing a #8 sieve, and not more than 15 percent <br />passing a #100 sieve, ASTM C144-81. <br /> <br />D. Water: City potable water. <br /> <br />E. Wall Reinforcement: Truss type welded wire masonry reinforcement, every <br />second course, 9 gauge deformed wire, minimum weight for 8 inch wall 187lbs. <br />per 1000 lineal feet, .048 sq. in. effective cross sectional steel area sized for <br />width of block. <br /> <br />1. Comply with material requirements of ASTM Standard A 82 for high tensile <br />steel. <br /> <br />F. Anchors: Galvanized steel, minimum 12 inch long. <br /> <br />G. Waterproofing: SEC #1, manufactured by SEC Manufacturing Co., or <br />equivalent approved by Architect/ENGINEER. <br /> <br />H. Concrete Block: Hollow loadbearing blocks, ASTM C-90, Grade N, Type I, <br />moisture content requirements as stipulated in the guide specifications of the <br />Florida Concrete and Products Assoc., Inc., weight of concrete more than 100 <br />lbs. per cubic foot, compressive strength minimum 2000 p. s. i., nominal 8 <br />inches by 8 inches by 16 inches. <br /> <br />1.
