1. The Irrigation Contractor shall coordinate with U.N.C.L.E. (800-432-4770) and all other Agencies as need to provide the service of locating and identifying the locations and types of existing underground and overhead services that are existing on the site. 2. Review all other plans for work on site outside the buildings for coordination and protection of the work proposed by others. 3. The Irrigation Contractor shall exercise care in digging and work so as not to damage existing utilities. Should such overhead or underground utilities be encountered which interfere with the work, the Owner or Owner's Agent shall be consulted immediately. The sub-contractor shall be held responsible for the repair of any damage caused by his work. 3.03 RESPONSIBILITY PRIOR TO FINAL ACCEPTANCE: A. The sub-contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the system for a period of 1 year after final Acceptance. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Repair of all damage to installed material and equipment. 2. Adjustment of all sprinkler heads with regard to height, arc coverage and radius. 3. Cleaning, repair and adjustment of all valves and other controls. 4. After testing, completion and adjustment of the system, the contractor will instruct the maintenance personnel in the operation and maintenance of the system. PART 4 - MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT A. MEASUREMENT 1. The irrigation system, as described by the irrigation plans, is measured as a single system. 2. The irrigation pump station, as detailed in the irrigation plans, is measured as a single system. B. PAYMENT 1. The irrigation system is to be paid for as a lump sum item. Payment shall be for the supply and installation of all necessary materials including pump station, heads, valves, laterals, main, wires, trenching in order to provide a completely installed system.
