SITE INVESTIGATION <br /> <br />The CONTRACTOR, by virtue of signing the CONTRACT, acknowledges <br />that he and all his subcontractors have satisfied themselves as to the <br />nature and location of the work, the general and local conditions including, <br />but not restricted to: those bearing upon transportation; disposal, <br />handling and storage of materials; access roads to the site; the <br />confirmation and conditions of the work area; and the character of <br />equipment and facilities needed preliminary to and during the performance <br />of the work. Failure on the part of the CONTRACTOR to completely or <br />properly evaluate any factors of costs prior to bidding shall not form a <br />basis for additional compensation if he is awarded the CONTRACT. <br /> <br />2. HOURS OF CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br /> Standard construction work hours within the City are 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday <br />through Thursday; 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on <br />Saturday. During daylight savings time, work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. <br />Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m to 5:00 <br />p.m. on Saturday. Any work done outside these hours shall require permission from <br />the OWNER. No construction activity shall take place on Sunday and the following
