SITE INVESTIGATION The CONTRACTOR, by virtue of signing the CONTRACT, acknowledges that he and all his subcontractors have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work, the general and local conditions including, but not restricted to: those bearing upon transportation; disposal, handling and storage of materials; access roads to the site; the confirmation and conditions of the work area; and the character of equipment and facilities needed preliminary to and during the performance of the work. Failure on the part of the CONTRACTOR to completely or properly evaluate any factors of costs prior to bidding shall not form a basis for additional compensation if he is awarded the CONTRACT. 2. HOURS OF CONSTRUCTION Standard construction work hours within the City are 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. During daylight savings time, work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
