Dead-end lines shall be plugged at the <br />right-of-way line. The cost of modifying existing sprinkler systems shall be <br />included in the price bid for clearing and grubbing. <br /> <br />19. RESTORATION OF PROPERTY <br /> <br /> Property, public or private, if damaged during construction or removed for the <br />convenience of the work, shall be repaired or replaced at the expense of the <br />CONTRACTOR to it's original condition as acceptable to the OWNER and <br />ENGINEER, prior to the final acceptance of the work. Such facilities shall include, <br />but are not limited to: signalization equipment, miscellaneous hardware removed <br />from the construction site, driveways, walkways, walls, fences, footings, <br />underground utilities, traffic and street signs, mailboxes, decorative walls, gates, <br />ornamental lawn or landscape accessories. <br /> <br /> The CONTRACTOR shall ensure that all landscaping, public or all private to remain, <br />disturbed by or during the prosecution of the work, shall be replaced in like for like <br />fashion and shall be returned to original or better condition. The cost of any such <br />restoration is understood to be included in various contract unit items.
