SECTION 01290 <br /> <br />PAYMENT PROCEDURE <br /> <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br /> <br />1.01 SUMMARY <br /> <br />A. Payments to the CONTRACTOR shall be made on the basis of the Proposal <br />Bid Forms as full and complete payment for furnishing materials, labor, tools <br />and equipment, and for performing operations necessary to complete the Work <br />included in the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />1. This compensation shall also include payments for loss or damages arising <br />directly or indirectly from the work, or from discrepancies between the actual <br />quantities of work and those shown in the Contract Documents, or from <br />unforeseen difficulties which may be encountered during the prosecution of <br />the work until final acceptance by the OWNER. <br /> <br />B. The prices stated in the Proposal include costs and expenses for taxes, labor, <br />equipment, materials, commissions, transportation charges and expenses, <br />patent fees and royalties, labor for handling materials during inspection, other <br />costs and expenses for performing and completing the work as shown on the <br />details and specified herein. <br /> <br />1. The Basis of Payment for an item at the price shown in the Proposal Bid <br />Form shall be in accordance with its description of the item in this Section <br />and as related to the work specified. <br /> <br />2. Unit prices will be applied to the actual quantities furnished and installed in <br />conformance with the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />C. Quotations for the various items of work are intended to establish a total price <br />for completing the work in its entirety. <br /> <br />1. Should the CONTRACTOR feel that the cost for an item of work has not <br />been established in the Proposal Bid Form or this Section, the cost for that <br />Work shall be included in some other applicable Bid Item, so that the <br />Proposal for the project reflects the total price for completing the work in its <br />entirety. <br /> <br />1.02 MEASUREMENT <br /> <br />A.
