<br />Addendum No. 3 <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />NE 174TH STREET ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS <br />CITY RFP NO. 14-11-01 <br /> <br />To All Bidders: <br /> <br />Bidders for the above referenced project shall take note of the following changes, additions, <br />deletions, clarifications, etc. to the Plans and Specifications, which in accordance with the <br />Contract Documents shall become a part of and have precedence over anything shown or <br />described otherwise. <br /> <br /> <br /> Questions/Clarifications: <br /> <br />1. Can you provide your anticipated budget? <br /> <br />Response: A budget is intentionally not provided and we ask that proposers price the <br />project accordingly based on their expertise. <br /> <br /> <br />2. Is there any page limitation for the response to this RFP? <br /> <br />Response: Emphasis is to be made on the quality of the response and not quantity. <br /> <br /> <br />3. Under Section 5, Item 5 – Cost of Services, it does not reference whether the price should <br />be in a sealed envelope. Please clarify. <br /> <br />Response: All price proposals shall be in a sealed envelope. <br /> <br /> <br />4. Asphalt Thickness: While reviewing the borings, I was unable to find the thickness of the <br />existing asphalt. Please provide depth for pricing purposes. <br /> <br />Response: Noted. According to the geotechnical report, 3” – 4” of pavement thickness <br />was encountered in the borings as stated on Page 5 of Wingerter Laboratory’s report. <br />Please refer to Attachment B of the bid documents. <br /> <br /> <br />5. Muck Removal: The borings shows that muck is existing throughout the <br />neighborhood. However, I was unable to find any details regarding muck removal. Could
