0 Cancellation and Re-Insurance <br /> Alpine Towing understands that in the event any insurance coverage be cancelled during the contract <br /> period, it shall be responsible for securing other acceptable insurance to provide the above discussed <br /> current coverages in effect as of the date of this RFP. Alpine also understands that all deductibles must <br /> be declared and approved by the City. At the option of the City, Alpine Towing shall eliminate or <br /> reduce such deductible or procure a Bond in a form satisfactory to the City, covering the same. <br /> Certified Drug Free <br /> Alpine Towing, Inc., is certified as a Drug Free Workplace" through 0. M. Management, Inc. Alpine <br /> Towing, Inc., requires all new applicants to take a pre-employment drug test before hiring. Please refer <br /> to the attached copy of the posted notice and internal policies. <br /> Background Checks <br /> Alpine Towing will be responsible for hiring the necessary personnel to conduct the specified services <br /> and will comply with all federal, state and local laws related to minimum wage, social security, <br /> nondiscrimination, Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA"), unemployment compensation, and <br /> workers' compensation. Alpine Towing will request a background check through Florida Department <br /> of Law Enforcement ("FDLE") Florida Crime Information Center/National Crime Center ("FCIC/NCIC") <br /> ® <br /> criminal record check. Alpine understands that any employee not meeting this requirement shall not <br /> be permitted to work at any City facility. <br /> Ancillary Services <br /> Alpine Towing understands that any ancillary service(s) are to be performed only if required and <br /> appropriate. The ancillary charge shall be duly noted on the Vehicle Storage Receipt and authorized by <br /> the on-scene officer. <br /> Contractor's Equipment During State of Emergency or Disaster <br /> When awarded the RFP, Alpine Towing understands that it shall be responsible for the following: <br /> If on duty when an emergency or disaster strikes, Alpine will have available 2 Class A wreckers or <br /> flatbeds at the disposal of the City's Police Department. <br /> If not on duty, Alpine Towing will have 1 Class A wrecker or flatbed available for the City's Police <br /> Department. <br /> The City Manager or his designee will declare the state of emergency or state of disaster and order the <br /> required equipment to be on standby. <br /> lZcP /7--1( --O <br /> t). r <br />
