Code, as well as sound engineering <br /> practice, requires that geotechnical services be performed to substantiate foundation <br /> design for the wall and is included in this proposal noting that geotechnical services had <br /> not been included in the original contract for design services. <br /> Design on the project will occur in two distinct phases. Schematic design will be done <br /> and includes renderings that accurately reflect proposed improvements for approval by <br /> City Commission and management. Upon approval by the City, the construction <br /> drawings will be revised and the project will be processed for permits. Note that due to <br /> some work elements being within FDOT right of way, a Construction Agreement with <br /> FDOT will be required and will be processed by the City at a later date.
