<br /> Song+Associates was selected to design the Port St.Lucie Civic Center,the springboard project for SERVICES PROVIDED:
<br /> I the new City Center.This urban center,street lined with fountains,shops,cafes,and apartments, Architectural&Interior Design
<br /> leads to the new 100,000 SF public facility. Public meetings to determine the building purposes Site Plan Approval
<br /> were part of Song+Associates'scope and a charette meeting with the citizens of the City of Port Programming
<br /> St. Lucie was held to determine building programs. Based on public input and a needs study, Construction Administration
<br /> I amenities include: a 14,000 sf banquet hall with commercial kitchen; 2,300 sf multi-purpose/
<br /> game room; 12,400 sf gymnasium with basketball court; 4,500 sf fitness center; 4 racquetball PROJECT SIZE:
<br /> courts; 6,000 sf conference rooms;gallery; pre-school room;and an indoor cafe. The new Civic 100,000 GSE
<br /> I Center is located lakeside and an outdoor patio with a seating area and gazebo overlooks the
<br /> lake. The Civic Center, located in the heart of east Port St. Lucie, has a 30,000 sf plaza with an CONSTRUCTION COST:
<br /> interactive fountain in the front. $30,600,000
<br /> I Song + Associates also designed the streetscape leading to the Civic Center and a parking
<br /> garage accommodating 800 vehicles which supports this facility and other urban uses for the
<br /> surrounding area.
