<br /> Design and Construction of a new 165,000 SF, 14-department County Administration Complex Programming
<br /> for the Board of County Commissioners in Indian River County,in association with local architect Master Planning
<br /> Donadio Associates. Song + Associates' primary responsibility was programming, master Architectural&Interior Design
<br /> planning, architectural and interior design, quality assurance/quality control of construction Engineering(sub-consultants)
<br /> documents and project management. Construction Administration
<br /> The project included verification of the previous space needs study for the County. The PROJECT SIZE:
<br /> projected growth for the next 5-and 10-year periods included the comparison of the existing 165,000 GSF
<br /> to the new facility. The complete master plan for the site included an in-depth analysis of
<br /> the adjacent parcels, elements of phasing to incorporate the existing Health District Building, CONSTRUCTION COST:
<br /> 1 employee demographics, zoning, traffic patterns, and future roadway development. The new $27,000,000.00
<br /> buildings include a three-story and a two-story building, which are arranged along with the
<br /> Health Department Building to create a new Civic Plaza and landmark center for governmental
<br /> services.The placement of the new building also incorporates saving existing monumental oak
<br /> trees. ~`
