Two critically eroded areas of shoreline were renourished with approximately 140,000 cubic yards of beach-quality sand. GFA provided pre and post- <br />construction structural survey services, GFA developed a vibration control plan, monitored ground vibrations with remote seismograph systems, provided a vibration <br />control specialist and vibration technicians, and submitted biweekly reports to the QC Manager, and performed quality control testing and management which <br />consisted of laboratory testing services. The project took approximately sixty days to <br />complete. GFA worked on pre and post-construction structural survey, vibration quality control plan, vibration monitoring, quality control plan, soil testing, and <br />turbidity monitoring. Approximately 50,000 cubic yards of sand <br />were trucked in and placed on the shoreline. GFA provided geotechnical engineering services which consisted of engineering technicians to perform mobile <br />laboratory testing (sieve analysis, was 230, construction observation), as well as vibration monitoring. GFA provided pre-construction <br />structural survey services, GFA developed a vibration control plan, monitored ground vibrations with a remote seismograph system, provided a vibration control <br />specialist and vibration technicians, and submitted biweekly reports to the QC Manager, and performed quality control testing and management which consisted of <br />laboratory testing services.
