BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br /> <br />The project consisted of the renourishment of approximately 2.4-miles of shoreline of the Sunny Isles <br />Beach located in Dade County. Two critically eroded areas of shoreline were renourished with <br />approximately 140,000 cubic yards of beach-quality sand. <br /> <br />GFA Contract <br />• $51,822.00 <br /> <br />GFA Services <br />GFA provided pre and post-construction structural survey services, which consisted of performing visual <br />inspections and video documentations of nearby building exteriors, exterior stucco, glazing, <br />walkways/breezeways, and general structural conditions. GFA developed a vibration control plan, <br />monitored ground vibrations with remote seismograph systems, provided a vibration control specialist and <br />vibration technicians, and submitted biweekly reports to the QC Manager.
