BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />As part of the City of Dania Beach’s Beautification Plan for its Parks, SRS was tasked with upgrading and adding facilities at Ocean Park, a five acre <br />linear park. This included Dune Restoration, Landscaping and Beautification, Renovation of existing Bathrooms and enhanced Lighting and Signage. <br />SRS participated in Phase One of the process which focused primarily on site improvements, organizing signage and creating a sense of place for <br />the Dania Beach Ocean Park. A Kayak Building was added for storage of rafts and other beach equipment. <br /> <br />Its location, so near to the inlet, has some of the best natural and well preserved beaches in South Florida in addition to a fully operational marina <br />and accented by the Dania Beach Pier and the Quarterdeck Restaurant. This provided a particular challenge as the buildings had to maintain their <br />integrity to be able to withstand the ever present elements (wind, sand, sun), while adhering to the Mid- Century Modern vernacular of the City. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />25.
