CGA is very familiar with the Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL), which plays a critical role in preserving and maintaining our shoreline. We understand the unique engineering requirements and environmental considerations associated with development in a coastal setting. To provide ongoing engineering professional services for design, permitting, bidding, and construction administration associated with Civil Engineering, CGA will coordinate and communicate with the designated City of Sunny Isles Beach personnel and with our in-house staff and team members to take the appropriate steps to execute and complete the specific task orders under the broader scope of services contemplated in this solicitation. The CGA Team’s goal is to provide the City with a high quality product by meeting the City's schedule and budget requirements for each project; as well as, assign the most qualified and dependable staff to carry out the work required under this Contract. CGA performs in-house quality control of the plans and specifications at 30%, 60%, 90%, bidding phase, and prior to issuance of final Construction Documents. At each of the project progress levels, the design plans and specifications are routed for Quality Control review by the Project Manager the CADD Manager, an Independent Professional Engineer, the Director of Construction Administration, and the Director of Engineering. The comments are addressed prior to the next milestone of the project. CGA also submits plans and specifications to the Client for their own review and response.
