At CGA, his responsibilities include preparing proposals and labor breakdowns, developing and managing project schedules, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, preparing plans and technical specifications, permitting, bidding assistance, addressing RFI’s, reviewing shop drawings, engineering during construction, as-built review, and final project certifications. As an engineer with previous design and field experience, he is versatile in his ability to perform the tasks at each individual project stage. 19. RELEVANT PROJECTS <br />a. <br />(1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) <br />Lloyd Estates Residential and Industrial Improvements <br />Oakland Park, FL <br />(5) YEAR COMPLETEDPROFESSIONAL SERVICES 2014 - 2015 CONSTRUCTION (if applicable) 2015 - 2016 (3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE Check if project performed with current firm Project Engineer for the design and modification of a stormwater conveyance system in order to improve floodingwithin the Lloyd Estates Neighborhood. The project also included a stormwater pump station and floodgates formajor storm events. New seawalls were designed and constructed downstream of the station that ultimatelydischarged to the ocean via the SFWMD C-13 canal. The pump station site provided means for erosion control thatincluded rip-rap design. We also coordinated and assessed the environmental impacts through South Florida WaterManagement District (SFWMD) and the Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE). In addition to stormwater dischargeimprovements, several areas included upgrades to the water distribution system for fire protection services. Theproject funding was driven by a FEMA grant. Project responsibilities included hydraulic modeling, design, review ofconstruction plans, permitting, quantity take-offs, cost estimating, preparing technical specifications, biddingassistance, shop drawing review, addressing RFI’s, and final certifications. <br />b. <br />(1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) <br />Natalie’s Cove Drainage Improvements <br />Cooper City, FL <br />(5) YEAR COMPLETEDPROFESSIONAL SERVICES 2013 - 2018 CONSTRUCTION (if applicable) 2018 - Present (3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE Check if project performed with current firm Project Engineer for the design and modification of a stormwater conveyance system for drainage improvements inthe local neighborhood. A drainage model and analysis was conducted for the entire basin, and it was determinedthat significant improvements could be attained from increasing conveyance pipe sizes throughout the system. Also,stormwater level of service would be improved by increasing the existing lake storage capacity through dredging andexcavation along the eastern bank to create wetlands on littoral shelfs. In addition to these stormwaterimprovements, the project consisted of roadway resurfacing and ADA compliance for pedestrian sidewalks. Projectresponsibilities included hydraulic modeling, design, permitting, addressing agency comments, quantity take-offs,cost estimating, preparing technical specifications, and providing services during bidding. <br />c. <br />(1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) <br />NE 57th Street Water Main Replacement <br />Fort Lauderdale, FL <br />(5) YEAR COMPLETEDPROFESSIONAL SERVICES 2015 CONSTRUCTION (if applicable) 2015 (3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE Check if project performed with current firm Project Manager for a residential water main replacement project in which water quality and age of the existinginfrastructure were the primary issues. Approximately 1,850 linear feet of a new looped system with fire hydrantswas designed and constructed.
