Village of EsteroSunny Isles Beach RFQ 18-02-01 | Marine and Coastal Professional Engineering Consulting Services <br />Permitting: After receipt of The City’s input at the 30% drawings, CGA will conduct preliminary meetings with the Agencies Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). After the 60% plans have been reviewed and approved by The City, permit applications will be made to the appropriate agencies. CGA will utilize our long term relationships with the staff at the AHJs to follow up and expedite all permit approvals. <br />Preparation of Final Plans/Deliverables: CGA will meet with representatives of The City to receive their comments on the 90% plans submittal. Following the meeting, CGA will prepare a written response to comments, make appropriate revisions and complete the preparation of the deliverables as defined by each work order to include:• Contract documents• Technical specifications• Bidding documents• Final construction plans in accordance with The City standardsThese plans, specifications, and bid documents can be used for the solicitation of competitive bids for the construction. <br />Bidding / Award / Notice to Proceed: When the scope of work requires a competitive bid process, the CGA Team will assist The City with the bid management <br />process to include:• Advertisement• Pre-bid meeting• Response to bidders questions• Preparation and issuance of addenda• Evaluation of bids• Preparation of a recommendation of award for the construction contract <br />Work Order Closeout: Once all tasks have been completed, the project manager will work with The City’s representative to close out the work order, including the punch list process, and closing out all required grant applications and open permits. <br />Coordination / Communication: CGA will work with the City of Sunny Isles Beach as an extension of their staff by keeping open communication via emails, phone calls and frequent status/progress meetings. City staff will be updated as to project progress, schedule and completion date throughout the duration of the project and attendance at any required Commission or staff meetings. <br />8
