BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />Morgan & Eklund, Inc. provided pre- and post- construction <br />surveys for Eastman Aggregate Enterprises LLC who was under <br />contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers together with the <br />City of Miami Beach and Miami-Dade County as part of the Miami <br />Beach Hotspots Beach Renourishment Project. Initially our field <br />crews verified horizontal and vertical control monuments and set <br />additional control points as required for RTK basestations. <br />Additionally, our firm provided construction staking for fill <br />placement and pre-and post-fill cross sections to determine fill <br />volumes. We also performed offshore pre-fill cross-sections at the <br />55th Street and 46th Street Hot Spots utilizing our 26’ Parker <br />Survey Boat and computed volumes with template and <br />specifications. <br /> <br />Our survey crews set grade stakes for fill placement within the <br />design template and collected elevation data along cross-sections spaced at 100’ intervals before fill and immediately after fill to compute <br />pay volumes. <br /> <br />Fees $163,032.50 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />25.
