City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida Marine and Coastal Professional Engineering Consulting Services (CCNA) | RFQ No. 18‐02‐01 Aptim Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc. 28 01C032018D Office Locations The majority of our project team is located in our Boca Raton, Florida office and will be the managing office for this contract. Engineering, environmental, geotechnical, modeling, CAD/GIS, administrative, and some survey services are performed out of our office in Boca Raton, and we also have a regional office in St. Petersburg, Florida, from where we can mobilize geotechnical related fieldwork. We also have engineering staff in Jacksonville, Florida to facilitate coordination with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACAE) when needed. Exhibit 6 shows all of APTIM’s Florida office locations. With a fully specialized team of professionals, we are able to provide not only quality personnel, but also the necessary quantity of personnel within the required disciplines to effectively execute multiple, concurrent tasks. The team is available on a full‐time basis to respond rapidly to the City’s needs. APTIM is available for conference call meetings and attendance of local meetings upon the City’s request. Staff Availability APTIM employs a full staff of qualified marine and coastal professionals and scientists, including engineers, geophysicists, geologists, biologists, certified hydrographers, and computer‐aided design (CAD) and GIS specialists. The proposed personnel on this team have ample time to dedicate to the City. These professionals will work together design and implement marine and coastal engineering projects that meets the City’s needs. When we pursue a new project similar to the ones proposed by the City, we evaluate whether we are adequately staffed to fulfill the project’s scope. This evaluation is based on workload forecasts and employee utilization rates. Since APTIM is a large company, we are accustom to providing quarterly forecasts of workload. Monthly workloads are forecast a year in advance and help us to project future workload and develop accurate project schedules. Weekly, monthly, and year to date employee utilization rates are automatically distributed through our timesheet system. This lets us evaluate staffing levels within different sections of the firm and allocate resources as needed. Staff Resources The APTIM team can provide all of the marine and coastal engineering services you will need under this contract. We are uniquely positioned to provide marine and coastal engineering services to the City of Sunny Isles Beach due to our in‐house multidisciplinary capabilities, experience, and local knowledge. We have also assembled a team of local subcontractors with the experience and expertise to provide a comprehensive suite of services under each of the specified disciplines of this RFQ. APTIM is extremely proud of the accomplishments of this staff in serving their clients.
