Several of our clients’ beaches have <br />received accolades from reputable institutions within the coastal restoration and engineering industry <br />including ASCE, FSBPA, and ASBPA. Our clients have received recognition for having top‐restored or best‐ <br />restored beaches by the American Shore and Beach Preservation Association. Each of these awards <br />signifies excellence in beach restoration for providing storm protection, habitat (environmental) <br />restoration, and preserving recreational value. Our proposed team (Exhibit 7) offers its experience and proven multidisciplinary approach. <br />Brief bios of proposed key personnel are provided below. Full resumes providing technical and historical <br />summaries detailing the unique experience that our APTIM team offers are provided in Section E of the <br />SF330. <br /> <br />Manatee County’s Anna Maria Island Beach <br />Nourishment Project won ASBPA’s Robert L. Wiegel <br />Coastal Project Award in 2015. <br /> <br />APTIM nominated and presented the FSBPA Local <br />Government Award to Gary McAlpin, Coastal Zone <br />Manager of Collier County in September 2016.
