City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida   <br />Marine and Coastal Professional Engineering Consulting Services (CCNA) | RFQ No. 18‐02‐01  <br />  <br />  <br />Aptim Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc.  <br />30  <br />01C032018D  <br />  <br />  <br />Thomas Pierro, PE, D.CE <br />Director of Operations <br />Thomas Pierro, PE, D.CE., is a registered Florida professional engineer with over  <br />16 years of coastal engineering experience and is very familiar with Florida  <br />coastal, hydrological, and regulatory environments. Mr. Pierro will serve as  <br />Director of Operations for this RFQ and will provide senior project management,  <br />technical oversight, and QA/QC. As a Director of the Coastal Restoration team,  <br />he has authority to allocate staff as needed to address the dynamic needs of  <br />coastal engineering projects. He is also the Engineer of Record for several beach nourishment programs  <br />and brings a pragmatic approach to solving to complex problems. He is a Board Certified Professional by  <br />the American Society of Civil Engineers as an ACOPNE Diplomate of Coastal Engineering and received the  <br />Jim Purpura/T.Y. Chiu Engineering Award from FSBPA in 2011 for his outstanding contributions to coastal  <br />engineering in the State of Florida. Mr. Pierro has extensive coastal engineering experience for clients in  <br />Southeast and Southwest Florida.  <br />EXHIBIT 7: APTIM Organization Chart <br />  <br />
