<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach | ITB 18-03-03 Right-of-Ways and Facilities Landscape Maintenance Services 28 <br /> <br />The City shall not be liable for any overtime costs for any staff working in excess of eight <br />(8) hours per day or (40) hours per week in order to accomplish the Work in accordance <br />with the Performance Standards. <br /> <br />Note: In the event that the same bidder is awarded both solicitations, 18-04- <br />01 and 18-03-03 personnel such as, program manager, field supervisor and <br />staff shall not be interchangeable. Each awarded contract shall have their own <br />personnel specified herein. <br /> <br />2.20.4 PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS <br /> The Contractor must furnish sufficient competent and qualified personnel to perform all <br />Work specified in the Contract. The Contractor must submit within fourteen (14) days of <br />execution of the Contract, a list of all personnel proposed to work under the Contract. The <br />list must be updated immediately when changes occur throughout the term of the contract. <br /> <br />2.20.5 All irrigation maintenance and repairs shall be performed by, or under the direct supervision <br />of a Certified Irrigation Technician. <br /> <br />2.20.6 All pesticide applications shall be performed by a Contractor licensed and insured as a State <br />of Florida Licensed Commercial Applicator. In addition, the staff performing the pesticide <br />application shall be licensed as Commercial Operators per Florida Statute Chapter 482 and <br />Rule 5E-14. <br /> <br />2.20.7 All pruning will be performed by, or under the direct on-site supervision of, staff with proper <br />documented education and training in proper pruning techniques. Pruning shall be <br />performed under the supervision of an ISA certified Arborist with a minimum five (5) years <br />experience with South Florida trees. The certified arborist shall be on site at all times when <br />pruning occurs. <br /> <br />2.20.8 All Maintenance of Traffic personnel shall be trained and certified in accordance with FDOT <br />Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) standard specifications. <br /> <br />2.20.9 The Contractor shall be available to meet with all public utilities to locate all irrigation and <br />hydraulic lines prior to excavation by the utility company. The Contractor is to act as the <br />City’s Representative in order to avoid unnecessary damage to irrigation lines. <br /> <br />2.21 PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS <br /> <br />The Contractor, as a minimum, must be a member, in good standing, of the following organizations: <br /> <br /> Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association (FNGLA) membership <br /> Florida Certified Landscape Contractor (FCLC) certification <br /> Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) and/or International Society of Arboriculture <br />(ISA) membership <br /> ISA certified Arborist <br /> FDOT certified Worksite Traffic Supervisor for Temporary Traffic Control (TTC)
