<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach | ITB 18-03-03 Right-of-Ways and Facilities Landscape Maintenance Services 43 <br /> <br /> <br />3.4 EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />All equipment shall be maintained in an efficient and safe operating condition while performing work <br />under the contract. Equipment shall have all proper safety devices required by law, properly <br />maintained, and in use at all times. If equipment does not contain proper safety devices and/or is <br />being operated in an unsafe manner, the City may direct the Contractor to remove such equipment <br />and/or the operator until the deficiency is corrected to the satisfaction of the City. The Contractor <br />shall be solely responsible and liable for injury to persons, and/or property damage caused by <br />operation of the equipment. All equipment will be inspected and evaluated by the City, prior to award <br />of this Bid. The following equipment shall be located at the satellite and operation site in the event <br />of emergencies and be available to the City within the required time frames: <br /> <br /> FDOT compliant arrow board and 75 FDOT compliant traffic cones. <br /> Backhoe-front end loader <br /> Twenty cubic yard dump truck <br /> Hydraulic 65 foot bucket truck <br /> <br />3.4.1 Special equipment required (in addition to standard maintenance equipment). The City, <br />at its sole discretion, may require that any of the special equipment be located in the <br />satellite storage and operation site specified herein. <br /> <br /> One 400 gallon portable water sprayer and one 3500 PSI pressure washer. <br /> FDOT Compliant arrow board and 75 FDOT compliant traffic cones. <br /> Three fertilizer spreaders. <br /> One pull behind aerator <br /> Portable Stump Grinder 6” below grade <br /> Underground wiring location equipment <br /> Two hydraulic bucket-trucks with a reach capacity of no less than 65 feet. <br /> One backhoe/front end loader combination machine (equivalent to a Ford F555 or <br />larger) <br /> One 24 foot minimum vertical man lift (pole cat or equivalent) <br /> Two portable brush chippers with 20 cu yard capacity storage truck <br /> Two twenty-cubic-yard capacity dump trucks <br /> One Utility Box Truck or Van <br /> Two portable gasoline generators (5000 W Minimum) <br /> Four (4) 48” minimum swath rotary lawn mowers <br /> Four utility carts that can traverse landscaped areas without damaging plants or <br />irrigation <br /> One Skid-steer Loader with the following accessories: Tre e Boom, Fork, Bucket, and <br />Auger <br /> A two-way communication system between all of the Contractors service vehicles, their <br />main office, and City personnel <br /> <br />The Contractor must own or have leased the equipment at the time of bid submittal. The <br />City may require proof of such ownership or lease agreement at its sole discretion.
