• <br /> SECURITY SERVICES <br /> r t <br /> o <br /> Emergency Preparedness Plan, e.g. Hurricane, Civil Unrest or <br /> Disorder <br /> Post: All, Including Dispatch Center and Administrative Offices <br /> Approved By: Alexander Perez, President, & CEO <br /> Purpose: <br /> The Emergency Preparedness Plan's purpose is to establish protective measures and <br /> preparations for FPI's Security Officers, post staff and visitors, and the facilities before, <br /> during, and after a hurricane, or any emergency needing emergency actions. <br /> Definition: <br /> Hurricane season is in effect from June 1 through November 1st. During this period of <br /> time, the following conditions of readiness will be implemented to ensure maximum <br /> preparedness. <br /> ALERT CONDITIONS AND ACTIONS <br /> Phase I: <br /> FPI Administration and Operations will prepare staffing plans. Employees required to be <br /> on duty during the hurricane, will receive shelter accommodations if needed. Post <br /> Schedules will be adjusted accordingly to try and accommodate all personnel. Contract <br /> Coordinators will contact individual contracts and request which properties will require <br /> security coverage before, during and after any storms. Initial provisions will be made for <br /> food, water and shelter for on duty Dispatchers and Supervisors. Personnel Dept. <br /> employees will create a contact list of employees willing and able to work before, during <br /> and after a storm. <br /> Site Supervisors, Road Patrol Supervisors, Operations and Administration Directors will <br /> be kept informed of the situation by the Dispatch Center. <br /> Phase II: <br /> A tropical storm or hurricane is fully developed and is predicted to impact the South <br /> Florida area within 72 hours. <br /> FPI Contract Coordinators and Directors prepare staffing plans. Plans should include the <br /> creation of a team of employees that will be at the requested posts and the Dispatch <br /> Center before/during (Team A) and after(Team B).
