<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach |RFP Disaster Debris Management and Disposal Services 18-04-02 23 <br /> <br /> <br />The term Vegetative Debris means clean, woody debris and other organic materials that can <br />be chipped and mulched. <br /> <br />The term White Goods means all appliances; including, but not limited to, refrigerators, freezers, <br />stoves, washers, dryers and HVAC units. <br /> <br />3.2 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF CONTRACTORS <br /> <br />1. Relevant experience and past performance in Disaster Debris Removal Services with a <br />minimum of five (5) years of experience in regards to the attached scope of work, service <br />area, and amount of debris collected. <br /> <br />2. Previous experience with State and Federal reimbursement programs; including, but not <br />limited to: of FEMA, FHWA, NRCS and any other applicable Federal or State agencie s <br />associated with funding of debris removal and recovery efforts. <br /> <br />3. Firm or principals shall have no record of judgments, pending lawsuits against the City or <br />criminal activities involving moral turpitude and not have any conflicts of interest that have <br />not been waived by the City Commission. <br /> <br />4. Neither Firm nor any principal, officer, or stockholder shall be in arrears or in default of <br />any debt or contract involving the City, (as a party to a contract, or otherwise); nor have <br />failed to perform faithfully on any previous contract with the City or defaulted on any other <br />governmental entity’s contract. <br /> <br />5. Contractor and those performing the work must be appropriately licensed and registered. <br /> <br />3.3 DEBRIS REMOVAL ACTIVITY <br /> <br />Debris Removal Management activities include, but are not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials <br />and equipment to accomplish the following types of tasks: <br /> <br /> 1. Clearing and/or removing debris from the public right-of-way, streets and roads or <br /> privately owned property as required to secure the public safety; <br /> <br /> 2. Management and operation of storage and debris reduction sites to accept, process, <br /> reduce, incinerate (with City approval) and dispose of event related debris; <br /> <br /> 3. Tree trimming, tree topping, tree removal, stump grinding, grubbing, clearing, hauling <br /> and disposal; <br />
