Certification or active involvement with <br />disaster preparedness agencies is highly desirable such as: NIMS certification, <br />FEMA Region IV, FEMA National Advisory Council, FEMA National Training <br />Programs (NTP), FEMA Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP), FEMA Emergency <br />Management Institute (EMI), Florida State Emergency Response Team (SERT), <br />and/or Florida Governor’s Hurricane Conference training/instructor. <br /> <br />6. References <br /> <br /> The Contractor must provide three (3) verifiable references, and indicate if <br />references are from municipalities/local governments, for projects of similar scope <br />as outlined in this RFP. Please ensure the contact information provided is up to date <br />and accessible The information provided for the references must include: <br /> Name of the firm for which services were/or are being provided <br /> Name of reference (project manager) <br /> Type of account and services provided, the year services started and, if <br />applicable, ended. <br /> Phone number and updated e-mail address for reference (project manager). <br /> <br />7. Personnel Experience and Qualifications <br /> <br /> Provide relevant experience and qualifications of key personnel (i.e. designated <br />representative, project manager, etc.), including key personnel of subcontractors, that will <br />be assigned to the City’s accounts and experience and qualifications of subcontractors, if <br />applicable. Brief resumes of these individuals are requested and highly encouraged stating <br />their credentials, education, experience, certifications, and all pertinent informat ion to <br />demonstrate capabilities. <br /> <br /> • Provide documentation that demonstrates the firm’s knowledge of Federal, State, and <br /> local laws and regulations governing this type of work and familiarity with FEMA, NRS, <br /> FHWA, FDOT, FDEP, FFWC, and other Federal, State and local regulatory agencies. <br /> <br /> The composition of the team should include: <br /> The names of the employees in the area responsible for this contract <br /> Their function in the company <br /> The name of the person who will be responsible for the coordination of work <br />through to implementation <br />8. Project Understanding and Technical Approach <br />A. Provide a concise description of the approach and process the Contractor will employ to <br />successfully complete the work to be performed to include mobilization, operational plans, <br />work procedures, processing systems and any specific staffing or equipment re sources that
