• <br /> PERKINS+WILL <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> The following scope items are intended to clarify, but not limit, the services proposed in this scope and fee proposal. <br /> This architectural proposal shall include, as a minimum, the following scope of services. <br /> A)Architectural,Structural Engineering,Bectrical Engineering and Civil services <br /> B) Schematic Design <br /> Develop Documentation and presentation of a design concept based upon the program, budget and schedule. The <br /> Schematic Design package will include drawings and engineering narratives to allow the Ow ner to conceptual price <br /> the project at this stage. <br /> C)Design Development <br /> Develop Design Development documentation based on the client-approved Schematic Design. This set of documents <br /> w ill develop in greater detail the schematic design and w ill incorporate the engineering disciplines and required <br /> accessory spaces. <br /> D) Construction Documents&Construction Administration <br /> Preparation of a corrplete set of construction documents developed from the client approved Design Development set. <br /> The Construction documents w ill be sufficient for complete and accurate pricing, permit submission and construction <br /> of the intended building. Documents shall be complete, thorough and well-coordinated between consultants and <br /> disciplines. <br /> • We w ill attend General Contractor bid review meetings as requested. <br /> • We w ill review and approve required shop drawings,samples, product information, as required to facilitate <br /> completion of the project. Review period to be within 2 weeks for any single subrr ssion <br /> • We w ill visit and w alk the premises during construction as to monitor progress of the work and verify that <br /> w ork is proceeding in accordance w ith the contract documents. These Construction Administration visits w ill <br /> be a maximum of 1 visit every 2 weeks for the duration of construction. <br /> • We w ill prepare periodic field reports as necessary <br /> • The Architectw ill be responsible for hiring and managing the, Bectrical and Structural Engineers as w ell as <br /> Civil for the improvements related to this project. <br /> q Permitting <br /> We w ill respond to any necessary comments through all required disciplines and City Departments, including but not <br /> limited to the City of Sunny Isles Beach Department and the Miami Dade County Department of Environmental <br /> Resource Management (DERM). In addition, w e w ill coordinate with DOT and City representatives during the permitting <br /> of this pedestrian bridge at Government Center Expansion. <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> Greater clarification regarding schedule is required with regard to DOT coordination, permitting and construction but <br /> w e w ould present the following design schedule as: <br /> Schematic Design 5 weeks <br /> Client review and approval of Schematic Design, conceptual cost estimate and certification <br /> of constructability by the client-retained construction manager 4 weeks <br /> Design Development 6 weeks <br /> Construction Documents 8 weeks <br /> Client review and approval of Construction Documents and final cost estimate 2 weeks <br /> Fbrmitting (City of Sunny Isles Beach, Miami-Dade County, DOT) TBD <br /> Construction Administration TBD <br /> TEAM ORGANIZATION <br /> Lawrence Kline will serve as the Design Principal with Carlos Vilato as Project Manager /Project Architect providing <br /> daily oversight and managerrent of the project throughout service delivery. In addition, Pat Bosch as Design Director <br /> of the Miami Office w ill provide critical design peer review and critique during the design process and George Valcarcel <br /> w ill provide Quality Review and peer review of the construction documents. <br /> perkinswill.com <br />
