PERKINS+WILL MEETING SCHEDULE Based on the proposed design schedule described above, we have assumed the following maximum number of greetings. and presentations calculated into our fee: Schematic Design 1 Meeting with the City, 1 Commission Resentation Client Review and Approval of Design and Cost 1 Meeting with the City Design Development 2 Meetings with the City Construction Docurrents 1 Meeting with the City, Review and Approval of Design and Cost (final before permit) ri Meeting with the City, I Commission Resentation *A minimum of 6 additional Skype/Conference calls with the client during the design process The City of Sunny Isles Beach Owner's Representative w ill be included in all correspondence and meeting schedules related to this project including City, County and DOT agencies having jurisdiction. BUDGET Our intention regarding budget would be to conceptually design the pedestrian bridge using quality materials and sympathetic with the design direction of the existing Government Center and the proposed Expansion. The Construction Manager would then estimate the cost of the design and w e w ill present the design solution and cost estimate to the client for review,corrment and approval. 1-Its AND EXPENSES We w ill provide the architectural and engineering services for the pedestrian bridge based on the follow fee schedule: Architectural Design Fee Concepts through Construction Documents and Including Construction Administration $185,000* Engineering and Landscape Consultants Fee MEP Engineering $40,000* Structural Engineering $100,000* Civil Engineering $20,000* Landscape Architecture NA Total Architectural and Engineering Fee $345,000* Note:We estimate reimbursable expenses for printing,mileage,messenger services,etc.at$7500 FEE PERCENTAGES PER PHASE: Schematic Design 25% Design Development 25% Construction Documents 25% Permitting (City of Sunny Isles Beach, Munro-Dade County, DOT) 5% Construction Administration 20% Total: 100% *Coordination with the Department of Transportation (DOT) and other regulatory agencies having jurisdiction over Collins Avenue w ill be billed as an hourly expense for the Architect and Engineering Consultants as these traditionally carry longer durations and multiple meetings throughout the design process. The Civil fee does not include utility relocation fees w hich w ill be quoted once locations are established. The Client shall compensate Perkins+Will for professional services rendered in connection with this specific project for the stipulated lurrp sum. All services shall be billed upon percentage of completion. Payments shall be made to Perkins+Will within 30 days of the receipt of invoices. Services required and requested by the Client w hich are outside the scope of this proposal w ill be billed hourly or as mutually agreed. The above professional fees do not include reimbursable expenses. Reimbursable expenses include all expenses incurred in connection with the project w hich include travel, lodging, meals, printing, long distance phone calls in connection with the project, photos, models, renderings, and any fees paid to authorities having jurisdiction over the perkinswill.com
