  <br />  <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH SECTION 03200 - 3 <br />WELL CASING <br />  <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> <br />3.1 GENERAL <br /> <br />A. Casing liner shall be installed as described in the specifications and drawings. Actual <br />casing liner depths will be determined by the depth of the existing 24” steel casing and <br />confirmed by the ENGINEER. <br /> <br />B. The casing liner installation method shall be approved in advance by the ENGINEER <br />and shall be consistent with manufacturer specifications. <br /> <br />C. Casing liner failure by any means, including but not limited to: collapse, breakage, <br />separation, dents, tears or rips during construction, that in any way impair the use of the <br />well or future use/condition of casing material in the opinion of the ENGINEER, shall be <br />repaired or replaced at the CONTRACTOR'S sole expense. <br /> <br />D. Casing liner connections shall meet manufacturer specifications for water tightness. <br />Connections shall have equal strength as the casing itself. <br /> <br /> <br />END OF SECTION
