<br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH SECTION 03300 - 1 <br />DOWNHOLE VIDEO LOG <br /> <br /> SECTION 03300 <br /> <br />DOWNHOLE VIDEO LOG <br /> <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> <br />1.1 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />A. This section covers the equipment, work and materials necessary to perform downhole <br />video logging of the wells. <br /> <br />B. Provide a DVD format video survey. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />NOT USED <br /> <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> <br />3.1 GENERAL <br /> <br />A. Each video log must be run and recorded in a continuous fashion to qualify as an <br />acceptable log. CONTRACTOR to provide Video Logs for “Before” and “After” the well <br />structure and well casing cleaning activities. The “After” Video will determine the <br />integrity of the existing steel casing and the need for PVC casing liner installation if the <br />steel casing is compromised. <br /> <br />B. The CONTRACTOR is responsible to ensure that the video logs are complete. Any <br />obstructions or fill material in the borehole or cased intervals will be removed by the <br />CONTRACTOR at his own expense. <br /> <br />C. Video logging will be performed by a qualified well inspection service. If a subcontractor <br />is used, submit the name of the company and qualifying experience for approval by the <br />ENGINEER. Video logger shall have a minimum of 5 years of experience performing <br />video logs. <br /> <br />D. All logs shall be appropriately labeled with all appropriate information. Two (2) field <br />copies shall be made available to the ENGINEER upon completion. The <br />CONTRACTOR will furnish three (3) copies of each video to the OWNER. <br /> <br />E. A downhole video log in DVD format will be conducted to inspect the casing and open <br />intervals of the wells. The video will be conducted in the presence of the ENGINEER. <br />The video camera lens will be color and capable of 360-degree movement; be
